Each component of your plan is based on your personal preferences. Genetic testing and advanced reconstructive surgery are an integral part of our treatment plans. The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center is the only NCI-designated cancer center in Nebraska. This first day can be a long one, so it might be helpful to bring someone along for support, and to serve as a second set of ears. This team usually includes surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and sometimes plastic surgeons. During this visit, you’ll meet with the doctors who have been working on your treatment plan. Your first visit will be a One Day, One Plan visit.
